SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont State Police say Patricia Prue violated court orders back in December 2013.

On October 2013 Judge Robert Bent ordered Patricia not to contact her husband Allen Prue through email, in person, by telephone, or through a third party.

Police say December 12 and December 26, Vermont Department of Corrections officials intercepted mail that was sent by Patricia Prue to a third party requesting that the letter be sent to her husband.

Patricia is now being charged with two counts of violation of conditions of release.

Both Allen and Patricia Prue are currently incarcerated and are awaiting trail for the 2012 murder of Melissa Jenkins.
