DANVILLE, Vt. - Caledonia Central Supervisory Union Superintendent Martha Tucker is no longer facing charges in a child abuse case.

Her lawyer says the judge dropped a pair of misdemeanor charges Tuesday, saying there just isn't enough evidence.

Tucker had been accused of not reporting child abuse and neglecting her duty as a public officer.

This all stems from a case a year ago, police say both Tucker and principal Noah Noyes found out a student was touched by a teacher, but did not report it to DCF.
