Dozens of people filled the Leddy Arena to raise money for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
The arena donated one hour of ice time Sunday morning for those skating to fight cancer.
The event is one of several put on by Team Kinderworks, one of the Relay for Life teams.
Their goal is to raise $3,000 dollars for the Cancer Walk this summer.
"Relay for Life can make a huge difference. It gives people hope that need it, it gives people support that need it. It gives people a chance to remeber everybody they knew that past away from cancer or is fighting cancer right now," said Kathryn Sleeman, Team Kinderworks
You could say Sunday's two hour event was a brief warm-up for the Relay for Life Walk coming up.
That lasts all night, because cancer never sleeps.
