SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - South Burlington Police want drivers to be more aware when passing emergency vehicles on the side of the road.

The department has joined a national campaign called #MoveOver. It was started by a Tennessee department after one of its officers was killed while investigating an accident on the interstate.

Police are advising motorists that if you see emergency vehicles on the side of the road or up ahead, slow down and move over.
