WINOOSKI, Vt. - Police say a 65-year-old man lost control of his truck during some sort of medical event.

The man's black truck ended up going north in the southbound lane of the Winooski circle. The truck then went over the island and through a sign and light post before finally stopping at a electrical control box.

The driver was sent to Fletcher Allen for treatment for the initial medical problem. No word on his condition at this time.

Clean up after the accident will take a while. The lights aren't working, so you can only use the crosswalks at the top and bottom of the circle.

Expect delays and use caution while crews get everything back to normal.
