Two VT Stores Burglarized Early Friday Morning

FAIRLEE/RYEGATE, Vt. - Police are investigating burglaries at the Champlain Farms in Fairlee and Alley's Market in Ryegate early Friday morning. The burglaries happened around 2 a.m. 

Vermont State Police say they were called to a report of a commercial burglary alarm at Champlain Farms located at 51 Lake Morey Road. When they arrived they found the business burglarized with numerous items taken. 

While investigating, they received report of a commercial burglary alarm at Alley's Market located at 2512 Scott Highway. Police say they found the store to be burglarized in a similar manner. 

Police were able to get a photograph of the men they believe are responsible for the burglaries. They are described as wearing dark colored sweatshirts. One of the sweatshirts had lettering clearly visible on it.
