LEICESTER, Vt. -

Vermont State Police released the names of the victims in Sunday's early morning shooting in Leicester, VT.

The first male victim is 64-year old Mahlon McCoy. He continues to receive medical treatment at Fletcher Allen Health Care and is in good condition.

Two troopers were also shot in the incident. They're being identified as Sergeant Eugene Duplissis, 36, and Trooper Matt Daley, 34, both stationed at the New Haven Barracks. They've been placed on paid administrative leave.

The suspect is 47-year old Timothy Foley, reportedly McCoy's neighbor. He's being charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated attempted murder.

Police say, after shooting McCoy in the head at McCoy's home just before 3am, Foley then barricaded himself in his home across the street. When police responded, Foley allegedly began shooting from inside his house. Two Vermont State troopers were struck in the head with shotgun pellets. Both are in good condition.

Foley is scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon at Rutland Criminal Court. We have a crew there and will bring you the latest as it becomes available.
