The Festival's Grand Parade took to the streets of downtown Saint Albans, attracting hundreds.
The line up was full of marching bands, horses, ambassadors and for some, family members.
"I like the fried dough and i like the parade because i have a granddaughter that's marching in it so we never miss it. (Is it usually warmer?) uh, yes. But this is vermont, what can you say? You take what you get," said Dianne Crawford.
Among others, Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin walked the parade and shook hands with parade goers.
