Voters in Waterbury Approve Bond for Municipal Complex

Voters in Waterbury have approved a $2.95-million bond that will fund a municipal complex.

The vote was 809 to 617.

Town leaders are currently working out of the fire department. The town offices were destroyed by Tropical Storm Irene.

Some homeowners could see a tax increase of nearly $60, per year.
