Four of the planes are expected to be returned into service within the next two to three weeks.
A press release says damage assessments to the airplane hanger are still being looked at.
"The assessment is being completed in coordination with teams from Hill Air Force Base and the National Guard Bureau. A total dollar value will not be available until all assessments have been completed. The Vermont National Guard is committed to ensuring that we have an accurate, final, and conclusive report," said Major Christopher Gookin, State Public Affairs Officer.
The planes are being repaired by the 158th FW Maintenance Group.
