VT Department of Fish and Wildlife Hosting Conservation Camps

MONTPELIER, Vt. - The Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife will be hosting conservation camps this summer. 

A press release says the camp will teach 12 to 14 year olds about Vermont's wildlife and obtain outdoor skills. There are eight one-week sessions held at Lake Bomoseen in Castleton and Buck Lake in Woodbury.

Conservation camps open June 22 and continue until August 22. Tuition is $250 for the week, includes food, lodging and equipment.

The camp weeks with openings are:

6/29     Bomoseen       Girls
7/6       Bomoseen       Boys
7/27     Bomoseen       Girls
8/3       Buck Lake       Girls
8/3       Bomoseen       Boys
8/10     Bomoseen       Boys
8/17     Bomoseen       Girls
