MONTPELIER, Vt. - The Vermont Senate passed a bill to reduce some of the limits on medical marijuana.

When vermont originally legalized the drug, it limited the medical marijuana program to 1,000 patients.  This bill would remove that cap.

It would also add PTSD to the list of conditions eligible for the drug, allow additional dispensaries to open, and allow dispensaries to possess more quantities of marijuana.

This will allow them to treat more patients and make more products, like edibles.

The bill now heads over to the Vermont House.
