Owner Bill Cherry says they’ve worked hard on the new upgrade and the reason for the expansion is due to an increase in customer demand, and the great tourism trade that all Vermont breweries are currently seeing.
Not only is the tasting room new, Switchback added a new extra pale ale. This beer is described as a hop-forward pale ale, which uses whole cone hops. It was designed using the Vermont grown hops from the UVM Hop Extension program.
Cherry says it has a great combination of super hop potency, with a wonderful refreshing character for summer.
Check out their tasting room at 160 Flynn Avenue in Burlington.
