Police Still Searching for Suspects in Animal Cruelty Case

Burlington, Vt. - Community members came together Saturday to remember a beloved cat that was found hanging from a tree earlier this month.

The owners of Tiki the car reported him missing at the end of October. He was found on November first hanging by a metal wire on a tree in the Starr Farm Dog Park in Burlington.

Neighbors gathered there to share stories about Tiki.

"It's pretty incredible, it's really comforting to know that people care about animals, and not only pets, it's not really about loosing Tiki, it's the manner in which he was lost," Frank Rosamilia, Tiki's owner, said.

Burlington Police are stilling searching for a suspect.

Police are offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest in this animal cruelty case.
