VSP Seeks to Locate Man Accused of Fleeing After Traffic Stop

Vermont State Police are looking to locate a man they say fled on foot after a traffic stop on San Remo Drive in South Burlington Monday.

Police say during the stop, they identified a passenger 30-year-old Jessica Roberts who had an active arrest warrant. After the driver, 32-year-old Sidney Pecor identified himself verbally he is accused of fleeing while police were checking his name.

Vermont State Police and several other agencies tried to locate Pecor, who was last seen in a swamp at the junction of Kennedy Drive and Dorset Street.

Percor was last seen wearing a gray jacket with dark colored pants with a neon stripe down the side. He is described as being 5'9" tall, 180 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.

According to police, Pecor is wanted on a $500 Chittenden County arrest warrant and for False Information to Law Enforcement.
