SkyTracker Meteorologist Steve Glazier's forecast calls for sunshine, fair weather clouds, low humidity, and dry conditions.
The cause? Another area of high pressure that will slide over the Northeast and stay for the weekend. High pressure has sinking air, evaporating any potential building clouds, while keeping any hazardous weather away from our area.
The air will be dry so evenings/mornings will be cool and a jacket may be necessary. By the afternoons it will be quite warm, perhaps bring a hat or umbrella for some shade and relief from any potential sunburn.
An upper-level disturbance, decaying area of rain from Ohio and Pennsylvania Saturday night will make a move toward us Sunday. This will weaken and give our area about a 10% chance of an afternoon rain shower Sunday. Many of us will stay dry and not even see rain! Next week true Summer weather appears to take hold of the area with a Bermuda High and temperatures nearing 90 degrees!
