Weather: Cool and cloudy (11/14 AM)

Amanda's Forecast Discussion

Good morning!

In typical November fashion, it's another cloudy day. Areas of morning fog will lift, but breaks in the otherwise overcast sky will be hard to come by. This afternoon, peeks of sunshine are possible, but will likely be sparsely scattered throughout the region. The temp inches into the upper 30s. Light northwest wind. Tonight, partly cloudy. Upper 20s.

Wednesday is perhaps the best day of the week with mostly to partly sunny skies and a seasonable high temp in the mid 40s. That's a great deal warmer than recent days. Unfortunately, the sunshine doesn't last.

Wednesday night into Thursday, clouds roll in as a Clipper-esque system closes in from the Great Lakes region. We are likely facing a very light mix of rain and snow, changing to rain Thursday, then back to snow Thursday night. As stated, precip will be very light and unimpressive. At most, valley spots end up with a sporadic dusting to about 1" - while mountains pick up another needed 2-4".

Friday, mostly sunny and cooler. After two days in the 40s, temps slide back into the mid 30s. Saturday into Sunday, another stronger low moves in from the Rockies and passes to our north. Yet again, a rain/snow mix is anticipated with Saturday being the soggiest day of the whole week.

Have a terrific day!
