Good morning! Happy Friday!
It may be the Luck of the Irish, but we can finally enjoy some quieter weather through most of the weekend. Friday morning, we kick off the day under mostly cloudy skies. Clouds will slowly decrease throughout the morning with broader valleys becoming mostly sunny and higher terrain, partly sunny. Temps reach the upper 20s to near 30 degrees with a light northwest wind 5-10 mph. Tonight, under clear skies, the temp drops down into the single digits.
Saturday, enjoy plenty of sunshine (and chilly temps) through early to mid afternoon. We're in the low to mid 30s as clouds creep in from south to north throughout the second half of the day. Light southeast wind 5-10 mph.
Saturday night, light snow will spread over southern Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as the Adirondacks. But certainly compared to this last week, we won't even bat an eye at a dusting to 1-2". That light snow wraps up by Sunday morning. A weak disturbance won't be able to get its act together until it's moved off to our southeast.
Sunday, clouds may linger over those southern zones with sunshine expected over central and northern Vermont, as well as New York's North Country. Temps again reach into the low to mid 30s, after dipping into the teens overnight.
We can look forward to more sunshine for the first day of Spring! That's this Monday!
Have a wonderful weekend!
