Weather: Quiet Start to the Week (8/28 AM)

Amanda's Forecast Discussion

Good morning!

More beautiful weather is on tap early this week with sunshine being Mother Nature's cure for treating those first day of school jitters! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it's mostly sunny with cool overnight lows in the upper 40s to 50s, and warm daytime highs in the mid 70s. At night, it's mostly clear with a touch of valley fog possibly in the early morning hours, daily. We're your official forecast for the Champlain Valley Fair. Over the next couple of days, the weather does more than cooperate; it's downright stellar.

We will be closely monitoring a developing tropical cyclone off the coast of southeast Georgia. It is expected to hug the US seaboard as it moves northeast up the Atlantic coast over the next few days, before turning out to see near southern New England. If anything changes in that forecast that would spell local impacts, we'll certainly keep you informed on Local 22/Local 44 and right here.

Thursday, a cold front swings through with partly sunny skies for the day and scattered showers. It'll be much cooler then behind the front to finish off the week, low 70s Thursday and mid 60s Friday!

Have a great week!
