Torrance's Forecast: - Hello folks, hope you are all enjoy the beautiful spring like weekend. The weather will remain rather quiet for the short term. A few of us tonight will see an isolated shower or mountain flurry as a very weak disturbance passes to our north in Quebec. Otherwise high pressure will move in, allowing for decreasing clouds and sunshine to return on Monday. While it will be sunny a breezy northwest wind will keep us seasonable in the low to middle 30s. Tuesday we start our day with morning lows in the upper single digits to middle teens, but the mercury will be on the rise.
Tuesday evening a fast moving batch of rain, sleet, and snow moves in from west to east. The start time looks to be after the evening ride home. With mild temperatures most of us will see some light rain, while northern Adirondacks and Greens will see near an inch or two of snow above 2,000ft. Models are hinting at some cold air trapped in pockets of the Northeast Kingdom, that might allow for some sleet or freezing rain to occur.
Come Wednesday we see partial sunshine return during the afternoon, warming things up we are expecting temperatures to hit the middle 40s. This will be the case for the rest of the week. Mild weather will overtake the region hitting near 50 degrees come Thursday. Thursday and Friday we will have partly sunny skies with the chance of a hit or miss shower. Come next weekend we are watching for our next significant system that looks to bring moderate to heavy rain before a change over to snow. This will need watching considering the snow melt this week with the light rain and mild spring like temperatures.
Have a great week!
