Torrance's Forecast: - Hello everyone, I hope you had a great Sunday 'Fun-day'. Outside of a few clouds, we were sunny and dry. How did the seasonably cool weather feel, just a taste of early fall. Our weak ridging will give way as our next shot of moisture moves in from the Ohio River Valley. Good news, the bulk of the moisture will slid further to our south. In the near term expect more clouds to move in during your Sunday evening with an isolated sprinkle possible. Majority of us will be dry through the overnight hours, with lows falls from the upper 40s in the interior Adirondack's and hallows of the Northeast Kingdom. Else where we are largely in the low to middle 50s with light and variable winds.
Monday kicks off with some areas of sun, but clouds will overtake during the morning. Late morning early afternoon we notice more widespread scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm or two. A stronger system will impact areas across southern New England, bringing heavy rain and gusty winds to the coastline. Luckily for us, we are not going to see that part of the storm, we are left with a weaker wave of energy that is northwest of the strong low pressure system. While southerly winds will keep us breezy, we are noticeably colder, with daytime highs in the middle to upper 60s and a few of us are in the low 70s. These temperatures are more inline with mid September!
Monday Night showers and clouds will slowly come to an end. A few isolated showers will linger into the over night hours, but we are largely on the dry side. Another cooler overnight with lows once again in the low to upper 50s.
Tonight: Increasing clouds, and cooler. Overnight low 55°. Wind: Light and Variable
Monday: Becoming partly to mostly cloudy with scattered rain/isolated thunderstorm. Fall like temperatures, with a daytime high near 70°. Wind: South 10mph.
Monday Night: Spot shower, otherwise drying conditions. Overnight low 58°.
Tuesday: Spot morning shower or two as an area of low pressure pulls east of the region. Mix of sun and clouds for the afternoon. Daytime high of 76°. Wind: Northwest 10mph.
Wednesday: Mix of sun and clouds. A spot shower can't be ruled out. Warmer, daytime high near 80°.
Thursday & Friday: Partly cloudy, isolated showers. Daytime high low 80s.
Have a great week ahead!
