Torrance's Forecast: - A few scattered showers continue for Saturday evening, they shouldn't inconvenience many folks. Heading into the overnight hours clouds will work on out of the region, giving us partly to mostly clear skies. With clearing skies overnight the shower threat as you can imagine will also diminish, but we will now see fog form across the area. Best areas to see overnight and morning fog will be in sheltered valleys, because in these areas the wind will be light to calm, and temperature and dewpoint will meet. The fog shouldn't be too expansive, and once the sun pops up the heat will help to raise those temperatures and the fog will lift. Expect overnight lows from the low to middle 60s.
More sunshine for Sunday with variable clouds filtering in during the afternoon. An occasional shower or isolated thunderstorm is possible, with the highest threat into the middle to late part of the afternoon. These will be very much like Saturday in terms of coverage. Daytime highs will once again run into the low and middle 80s with a southwest wind at 5-10mph. Clouds will continue to move in past sunset, allowing us a few more showers into the overnight hours.
Come Monday we will have to continue to monitor the chance at a few strong to severe thunderstorms. The primary threats include heavy rain/flash flooding, gusty winds, frequent lightning, and hail up to 1". Continuing into the week we have a chance of isolated showers almost everyday with highs in the low to middle 80s.
Have a great day!
