UPDATE: Storms End Tuesday Night (8/22/2017)

Storms are wrapping up and moving out Tuesday night. You'll be able to sleep without any weather worries but be careful if you're driving around. There were numerous reports of wind damage up and down New York, Vermont & New Hampshire. As storms clear the area and our cold front finally pushes east, it'll be noticeably drier by Wednesday morning. Temperatures to start the day will be in the low to mid 60s. Fog won't be widespread but pockets of it will be around during the early drive. It'll thin as the morning goes on and clouds will gradually break up by the afternoon. Genearlly, expect a beautiful day with a mix of sun & clouds with highs nearing 75-80°. You'll also notice it'll be a refreshing breeze from the west/northwest near 20mph at times.

Thursday and Friday will be kind of tricky only because there's a small chance at a shower or two, mainly over the highest terrain. Most will be dry and comfortably cool under a mix of clouds and sun; highs will be in the low 70s. The Champlain Valley Fair starts Friday and the weather couldn't look better! You're good to go with short sleeves in the afternoon (70s) but bring a long sleeve tee after sunset; temperatures will quickly fall into the 50s & 60s before the gates close.

Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be just as good, if not better! Expect mostly sunny skies each day with highs around 76°. Overnight lows will be comfortably cool in the low to mid 50s. As a friendly reminder, the first day of fall is September 22. Less than a month away now :-)

Have a great week!
