Good Sunday Evening!
Some beautiful festive snow showers this afternoon, giving a slight dusting to the Champlain Valley and mountain tops around an inch. Hopefully this has put you into the holiday spirit! But if you are in need of sunshine just need to wait one more day. For the rest of your Sunday we will see those festive snow showers about and will end from north (7pm) to south(10pm). SkyTracker Radar is showing the bulk is moving south of the Champlain Valley but a secondary shot of snow flurries is moving south of Montreal (as of 5pm). The early hours of Monday will clear out the sky becoming mostly clear by 3am and allowing for over night temperatures to fall into the low and mid 20's. Thanks to the area of high pressure to our north it will give us a sunny start to our work week. The sunshine will not last too long. Tuesday morning will start with a mix of sun and clouds, by Tuesday afternoon clouds will work back into the region ahead of a warm front... models are in agreement with rain to start late Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday will have rain on and off for most of the day along with a cold front passing by and lingering rain showers into Thursday. Across the region a half inch to two inches of precipitation may fall, mountain peaks could pick up to an inch or two by Thursday morning. Thursday night we see a return of an area of high pressure and we start to see more sunshine Friday into next Sunday.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy with festive snow showers, then becoming mostly clear by 3am... overnight low 23°. Wind: N 5-10 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny high near 37°. Wind: S 5-10 mph.

Have a great week!
