Burlington, Vt. - Families visiting the Echo Center Saturday took an adventure with a team of Siberian sled dogs.
It's the third time the sled dogs, also known as Siberian Huskies, made their way to Burlington.
The huskies are bred right here in Vermont, and their owner says the dogs are strong and friendly.
Kids got kisses from the pups after learning about why they're used for racing and recreational activities.
"Very personable, they like people, but they are not needy, they are independent, I can trust them," Rob Farley, the owner of October Siberians Sled Dog Adventures, said.
Now these huskies don't race professionally. Farley does take people out to the Little River State Park, though, to show off all the things these dogs can do.
