Where did you grow up?

Rochester, NY

Where did you attend school?

I earned my bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Studies at Fordham University. I then attended Syracuse University and received my master's degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Where have you worked previously?

Before making the move to Vermont, I worked at KOTA in Rapid City, SD as a Reporter/Anchor/Producer.

What is the most challenging story you've ever done?

Three people from Wyoming were returning home on a small, private plane, when it went missing in Utah. I got in contact with the family and went to their home to speak with them about the search. I was extremely nervous before arriving and didn't want to intrude. Despite the circumstances, the family graciously welcomed me into their home and made me feel comfortable. It was an honor to tell their story.   Unfortunately, a few days later the plane was located and there were no survivors.

Who is your favorite national correspondent?

Brian Williams. But Peter Jennings and Barbara Walters are the reasons I wanted to get into TV news.

What are your hobbies?

I love traveling, kayaking, hiking, shopping, reading, spending time with my friends and family, and of course spending time with my dog, Keena.

What are your favorite sports teams?

I really only watch college basketball; so of course Syracuse!

What is your favorite book?

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. But my all-time favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird.

What is your favorite food?

Sushi, I could eat it every day!

What is one thing you would put on a "bucket list"?

My bucket list is (very) long and I've been fortunate to travel to some places and complete some items on my list. But the next place I want to visit is Egypt. I've always been fascinated with the ancient pyramids.
