Montreal, QC -- After five consecutive days in Canada, hours of travel and plenty of time spent together, this young group of Catamounts grew into a team. Five games, three wins, but a lot to take away from this Canadian tour.

"I think it's been a very productive summer." said UVM head coach John Becker. "And to cap it off with this trip it's been really really good, to kind of see the guys against other people."

"I think we definitely got a head start to our season." said junior Ethan O'Day (8 points, 2 rebounds) "Getting to play with these guys and spend a lot of time with them, I think we're ready to go. Got a bit of downtime before the regular season starts, about a week off. And then we'll be right back at it at the end of August."

"It's kind of tiring, five games in five days and playing a lot each game but it just gave me more of a feel for what the college game is like." Trae Bell-Haynes said after the win. "Especially because I want to get to the point where I'm playing these kind of minutes every single night."

Dre Wills was especially good Wednesday. At one point Coach Becker turned to the rest of his staff and said "Dre is playing like he wants to play a lot of minutes this season."

"You always want to play." said Wills after a 16 point, 12 rebound performance. "You want to be a part of the team. So definitely I want to play a lot of minutes. But I want to win, and whatever that takes however many minutes that takes, for me to play for us to win I'm fine with that."

After plenty of nights spent in hotel rooms these Catamounts return home to prepare for the start of their regular season in Catamount Country.
