Robin Duncan to Join Brothers with UVM Basketball

BURLINGTON, Vt. - A third Duncan is on his way to UVM basketball.  Robin Duncan will join brothers Ernie and Everett for the 2018-2019 season at Patrick Gym.

A 6'5" guard from Harrison High school in Evansville, Indiana, Robin committed to the Catamounts on Saturday Campus visit. The youngest Duncan was known as an assist machine in Indiana.  He was fourth in the state in the category on average and set a single game assists record this past January.

Robin will have one year to play with Ernie and two with Everett. The older Duncans hold redshirt junior and redshirt sophomore status heading into the new season.

Robin says the chance to play with his brothers is exciting, but not the only reason he decided to join the Catamounts.

He says, "UVM is a special place, you know, it's incredible.  You know, the campus and just the sights of everything, and I mean I just couldn't pass up playing as my brothers, possibly playing with my brothers.  And playing at a great place like this.  You know I think I might be better and just as good as my brothers, but I beat Ernie a couple times, beat Everett a couple times, but they get me back though."

Robin received five other division-I offers... Those came from Kent State, Tennessee-Martin, Ball State, American and IUPUI.
