ALBANY, N.Y. - The American Heart Association is concerned about the lack of funding for obesity programs in Gov. Cuomo's budget address Tuesday.

According to the Heart Association, without funding, obesity prevention will be almost impossible.

About 60% of New Yorkers are overweight. This puts them at risk for several serious illnesses.

The association is asking Gov. Cuomo to give them $10 million for prevention measures and $1.5 million dollars for their healthy heart program.
