Burlington Park Getting a Make Over

A Burlington, Vt. park is getting a make over.
BURLINGTON, Vt. - It was once used as a horses trough and now farmers markets in the summer.

The City Hall Park in Burlington is yet again, getting a make over. It hasn't been touched since the 70s.

The city has quite a vision for the green space.  It will take a few years to construct and more than a million dollars needs to be raised. The design is drawn and it includes a year-round farmers market and a central promenade for concerts.

"We've got this park, it was given to the citizens, almost a couple hundred years ago now, so let's do it justice," BBA Executive Director Kelly Devine said.

FOX 44 and ABC 22's Jenny Day
will be live from City Hall Park starting at 5 a.m.
