Candidates Considered to Fill Sen. Fox's Seat

The Vermont Senate has one empty seat after the loss of Senator Sally Fox earlier this month.
MONTPELIER, Vt. - The Vermont Senate has one empty seat after the loss of Senator Sally Fox earlier this month.

Governor Peter Shumlin will appoint the new senator to finish the rest of her term.

The Chittenden County Democrats will choose three candidates to recommend to the governor. There are six in total.

Kesha Ram and Tim Jerman are both current state representatives.

About 80 delegates will get to vote Wednesday night.
