BURLINGTON, Vt. - UVM's campus was paid a special visit today by a famous actor.
Seth Rogen and his wife Lauren Miller stopped by to honor the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
The fraternity helped raise more than $27,000 for Hilarity for Charity. It's a contest that encourages college students to raise awareness for alzheimers.
Rogen's mother-in-law suffers from the disease. In all, the program raised more than $128,000.
The famous duo never expected the response they got to this national contest.
"I'm like this is not going to work," Actor Seth Rogen, said. "College kids are not going to take their time to do this and we didn't publicize it that much. We kind of were wanting to see what the organic level of enthusiasm was and it was shocking honestly. It was so far beyond what we imagined it would be."
As an extra reward, UVM had a special screening of Rogen's new movie, Neighbors.
