MONTPELIER, Vt. - A new grant from the Vermont Telecommunications Authority will allow for expansion of broadband in the state.
Gaw High Speed Internet Services received more than $64,000. The company supplied another $28,000 to help bring the Internet to 3 communities.
All 3 communities are in Rutland county. Roads in Chittenden, Ira, and Pittsford are scheduled to have wireless capabilities by June 15.
