BURLINGTON, Vt. - The planned CCTA strike on Monday may leave some Burlington students without a ride to and from school.
According to the school district, the board will not be funding alternative transportation for students riding CCTA buses due to the budget defeat, uncertain revenues, and not getting involved in labor management issues with CCTA.
The district says they will monitor the impact on student attendance and adjust their response if needed.
On Wednesday, members of the Teamsters Local 597 voted unanimously against CCTA's best offer.
