BRANDON, Vt. - The Community College of Vermont (CCV) is offering several free 3 credit undergraduate business courses this summer.
A press release says the Principles of Supervision course is geared toward supervisors, managers, and employees who are ready for leadership positions. Topics covered during the course include communication, goal setting, delegation, time and stress management, performance appraisal, the hiring process, motivation, and responses to technology.
The course will be offered at the following times and locations:
- Thursdays 5-7 p.m. / May 22 - July 31, partially online and on-site
- Tuesdays 5:30-9 p.m. / June 3 - August 19, on-site
- Tuesdays 5-8:15 p.m. / May 21 - August 5, on-site
- Wednesdays 6-9 p.m. / May 21 - August 20, on-site
CCV also plans on offering two free online classes, Professional Financial Literacy and Introduction to Internet Marketing. Those classes are being offered May 20 - August 5.
