According to the report, routine weather events such as rain and colder-than-average temperatures can cost the economy as much as $485 billion annually.

The report factored in nine metrics including humidity, precipitation and snowfall as well as odds of poor and extreme weather.

Wallethub says they assigned each city a percentile rank. States with blue markers were in the top 50 percentile, while states with red markers were in the bottom 50 percentile. Cities with green markers were in the top 10 percentile. Click on a city to see how they rank.
