PLATTSBURGH, NY - Graymont Materials held its first ever Community Day to benefit a back-to-school program in the area.
The company said it's a real chance for them to meet with and give back to the community.
Family oriented activities included face painting, wagon tours of the quarry and a raffle for a new fire pit.
"We're part of the community, so it's an opportunity for us to share and as I said give back and allow people to come in and see what we do. And for us to say hello and thank them because at the end of the day they're our customers," said Mark Coombs, Sales Manager at Graymont Materials.
The Sheriff's Department also offered Child I-D and finger printing.
