BURLINGTON, Vt. - The fight against hunger in Vermont continued Friday in Burlington.
The Vermont Foodbank says more than 86,000 people a year in Vermont don't have enough food to put on the table.
Leaders from all over the state, including Senator Bernie Sanders, met at the Sheraton Hotel to discuss ways at stopping hunger.
While food donations are always welcomed, there are other ways to get involved. Vermont's Foodbank network includes 270 different services from meals on wheels to shelters and food shelves.
