CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire Department of Insurance announced five plans for the state's Health Marketplace in 2015.
In April, the legislature approved a timeline of when information on certified Qualified Health Plans were to be released. Under the plan, by June 1 insurance carriers had to submit their initial applications to be included in the state's health insurance marketplace. The Department must complete its review and make plan recommendations to the federal agency operating the Marketplace by August 10.
"With five carriers now planning to offer coverage in 2015, we have taken an important step toward improving the health and financial well-being of our people,” New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan said.
According to the N.H. Department of Insurance, open enrollment for individuals will run from November 15, 2014 to February 15, 2015.
