BURLINGTON, Vt. - Dozens of people enjoyed biking, kayaking, or paddle-boarding for free on Saturday at Burlington's North Beach.
It was all a part of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont's 'Free Hike, Bike, and Paddle Day.'
Organizers say it's a great way for people to get out and get moving, especially during these beautiful summer days.
"So I think its really important to get folks out and about. We have beautiful opportunities here in Vermont and you know for some folks trying something new can be cost prohibitive and so we want to take that barrier away," said Megan Peek, BCBS Community Relations.
This was the 3rd and final free event of the summer.
Organizers also handed out free t-shirts to participants, and free healthy snacks.
