Fugitive Arrested for Escaping VT Corrections Supervision

A Vermont fugitive was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in Essex on Monday.
ESSEX, Vt. - A Vermont fugitive was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in Essex on Monday.

A press release says Kylee Dubuque, 29, of Essex, Vt., was on the run since the end of March 2014. She escaped from supervision from the Vermont Department of Corrections. Dubuque was under supervision for the following crimes burglary, escape, larceny, forgery, and possession of a regulated drug.

On Saturday, April 11, Dubuque was confronted by Essex Police while she was walking with her child. After being spotted, police say, Dubuque quickly fled on foot, leaving her child with a friend. 

U.S. Marshals located Dubuque at a residence in Essex. She was arrested without incident. 

Dubuque was lodged at the Chittenden County Correctional Facility.
