The recall woes continue for General Motors as the automaker added another 824,000 cars to its ignition switch recall.
The recall previously included 1.4 million GM cars sold in the U.S. that were made through model year 2007.
GM is now expanding that to include all model years of the affected vehicles - including those between 2008 and 2011.
The automaker says that's because some of the newer versions of the cars may have had their good switches replaced with faulty ones during repairs.
The cars affected include the Chevrolet Cobalt and HHR, the Pontiac G5 and Solstice, and Saturn Ion and Sky.
