Starting Thursday, you can help the Salvation Army in Barre fill its nearly empty shelves.

It’s the 12th annual Frank-FM “Stuff-a-Truck.” FOX44 & ABC22 is also a proud sponsor.

This is the single biggest fundraiser for the Salvation Army’s emergency food shelf. Each month it helps some 200 people with an emergency food basket.

How can you help? Bring non-perishable food or cash donations.

The benefit begins Thursday morning and lasts three days at 802 Toyota/Scion in Berlin.

JD Green and TJ Michaels of Froggy 100.9FM and Frank 107.1FM will be broadcasting live each day. The two morning show radio hosts pledged to stay on site until the 18-wheeler truck is filled. Granted both have campers available to sleep in, they are committed to helping their neighbor.

"This is really the perfect storm right now for Vermonters", says Green. He adds, "We've got 18% cuts in food stamps and more and more people that are going to rely on food shelves all across the state so the need is bigger now.  This is our twelfth year doing this and I don't think we've seen a greater need than what we do right now."
