BERLIN, Vt.-The 2013 Stuff-A-Truck is under way at 802 Toyota Scion. This is the 12th
annual event, benefiting the food bank at the Central Vermont Salvation Army. Last year, Stuff-A-Truck collected 18 tons of food, and 12 thousand dollars in donations. Those donations allowed the Salvation Army to have their food bank stocked for almost a full year. Stuff-A-Truck accepts any non-perishable food items and monetary donations. They will remain at 802 Toyota Scion until they fill the truck, which they expect to occur at some point on Saturday.
Today, Lt. Gov. Phil Scott will be on hand for another fundraiser taking place at Stuff-A-Truck. The statewide “Kettle Kickoff” will take place, as Salvation Army volunteers will be on hand to collect donations with their signature red kettles.
Drop off donations are at 802 Toyota and Twin City Subaru in Berlin.
