The 13th annual Essex Winter Carnival kicked off in Essex and Essex Junction on Saturday.
The free event had a variety of fun for all ages.
Some things to do included taking a horse and carriage ride, getting your face painted, and even climbing a rock wall.
Between 300-500 people came in and out throughout the course of the day.
"Its just a great way to get outside and have fun with your friends and come together as a community for free stuff," said Ally Vile, Director of Essex Parks & Rec.
Next year, the event will be held at the Albert D. Lawton Intermediate School.
