A new report by Strolling of the Heifers ranked states on their commitment to local foods. 

A press release says the report ranked states based on the number of farmers markets, the number of consumer-supported agriculture operations (CSAs), the number of food hubs (per capita), and the percentage of each state's food districts with active Farm-to-School programs. 

Strolling With the Heifers' goal is to increase local foods in homes, restaurants, schools, and institutions across the country.
