BURLINGTON, Vt. - A federal judge has ordered a Bosnian man living in Vermont to be held in jail because he's too much of a risk for fleeing.

On Friday, federal agents arrested 54-year-old Edin Sakoc on charges he lied about war crimes in Bosnia to travel to the U.S. and become a U.S. citizen. Prosecutors say Sakoc committed kidnapping, rape, and was involved in two murders during the Bosnian war twenty-years ago.

Sakoc has pleaded not guilty to charges of lying to immigration officials.
