WATERBURY, Vt. - Keurig Green Mountain has laid off 12 people Thursday.
In a statement, the company says the layoffs were part of the consolidation of the Massachusetts and Vermont-based customer-facing teams.
Full statement from Keurig Green Mountain, Inc.:
"Over the past several months, we have combined our Massachusetts and Vermont-based consumer-facing teams, allowing us to have a single approach to our consumer care. As a result, we expect a reduction in the number of incoming calls the team will handle directly which led to a decision to reduce the size of our Consumer Care team. Twelve employees have been separated from the Company today. These team members have been informed and are being offered support and assistance through their period of transition including severance and job transition support. We continue to add in-state jobs in other areas of the Company as we grow."
