Lamprey Control Treatments Completed on Lake Champlain

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife says all water use advisories associated with the Lamoille River sea lamprey control treatment, which took place on October 30, are lifted.
ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife says all water use advisories associated with the Lamoille River sea lamprey control treatment, which took place on October 30, are lifted.

Lampricide concentration in the river and all parts of the adjacent lake (Mallets Bay and the Inland Sea near the Causeway) have dissipated to levels below the state advisory threshold.

The Fish and Wildlife Department says all uses of the river and lake water may now be resumed.
