Microsoft will no longer be supporting Windows XP after April 8.
Microsoft says Windows XP customers will no longer receive new security updates, non-security hotfixes, free or paid assisted support options, or online technical content updates. This means that computers running Windows XP could be vulnerable to hackers and viruses.
Microsoft is recommending individuals or businesses who are running Windows XP to upgrade to Windows 7 or 8.
